And the silence is because sometimes love is too busy to talk.

The oh so simple yet everything feeling…
There it comes like wind finding its way under a window sill.
Like sun through the glass marking a spot on the table of glittery colors.
It’s awesome and has no scent, but yet pleasant smell comes to mind.
Love, it’s that oh so simple but yet “everything” in your mind.
Neuroscience research suggests we are neurologically wired to connect with others
Humans were not meant for loneliness. Love is hardwired in our DNA, we seek a village, a group a family to love and care for. A convergence of neuroscience research and discoveries suggests that we are neurologically wired to connect with others; mirror neurons in our brains are stimulated when we’re interacting with other people. Literally, when you are talking to someone, pathways in your brain light up to mirror the emotions and behaviors that this other person is conveying.
It is indeed why they say smiling is contagious! Think about it, when you see someone smiling or laughing, you sometimes laugh and smile for no reason too.
I think it’s kind of magical to imagine pathways in our brains lighting up when we feel the emotions of that person sitting across from us. It demonstrates that seeing and doing branch off the same tree.

Like fire on ice the impossible burns,
the flickering light o’er the heart.
It binds the love with light,
and stirs the warmth at night.

Love is not that thing you can plan out. It’s that thing that happens.
And when love happens, it’s like all important things, it needs care.
We can be cynical, pessimistic, or have an overabundance of belief that love will save the universe. Makes no difference, love doesn’t listen to either side, it is what it is. You care for it or you lose, and sometimes when you care for it, you lose it anyway. The same as sometimes when you throw it away it surrounds you.
So, what’s the secret? You’re the secret, in each of us, love, loves, love!
The science on what causes stress even in the best relationships
How do you know when you love someone?
Take a moment and think about love. Are you terrified of it? Do you fantasize about it? Have you been exposed to pain, break ups, divorce, let downs, been cheated on, betrayed or perhaps you’ve had nothing but the best experiences with it?
Whatever your experience is, I’m sure there’s a ton of mystery to the whole process regardless.
About 18 years ago, I asked random strangers on the street, “What is love?” I was amazed to hear about half described love as painful, while the remainder claimed love was happiness or that person you wanted to be with the most.
What everyone agreed upon was that love does bring on anxiety, nervousness, and confusion even when it’s the best kind of love.
So, why does love stress us out? Love is that feeling of enlightenment. Where all wrong can be made right, how is that stressful? It’s more like a superpower, right?
Science says stress creeps in because love brings down the walls. Your neurological security system has been disabled and levels of the stress hormone cortisol are released, especially during the initial phase of romantic love.
Cortisol is a chemical that is released in response to fear or stress by the adrenal glands as part of the fight-or-flight mechanism. Some will laugh, but love is a big alert for our bodies, minds, hearts, and lives. We go from being single to planning the rest of our lives with someone else, so you can imagine why our hormones flood in.
I imagine our love life like one of those Star Trek movies, where the captain is alerted to the helm where he now fights the unknown creature (love) until he deems it’s safe. When we fall in love we are exploring, we are putting ourselves into space explorations and there’s going to be danger—so are we Kirk finding and conquering it, or are we hiding somewhere never letting our guard down?
I’m the type that when I become frustrated with love I need a long walk and I never knew why, but now I understand. Physical activity lowers cortisol, hence why walking is known as a stress reducer.
We are natures creatures, built to withstand much more than we imagine. Anything that threatens us, alerts not just our thoughts, but our physical body too.

My life was simple until I saw you standing there.
We love these romantic stories, and many happen just like that. An annoying person pecks at you one day and the next thing you know, love is born.

What are the symptoms of falling in love?
I just felt better sharing my space with that large white bird. A year later I realized I was a bird too. Love!

Wow! Awesome, thanks for sharing
An interesting article, here’s a little piece I wrote about love
“Where Is Love?
Behind every word
There is a thought
Between every thought
There is an emotion
Underneath the emotion
There is a heartbeat
Below the heartbeat
There is a soul
Within the soul
There lives love”
Absolutely beautiful, Ivor.. Thanks for reading and sharing. Have a great weekend to come and stay safe out there.. Efrona
Thank you for sharing!!.. “You don’t love the person you can live with, you love the person you cannot live without” (Author Unknown)… 🙂
Until we meet again..
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
(Irish Saying)
